Feats of Peerlessly Great Persons Lauded by Nigerian Figure

Pyongyang, April 1 (KCNA) -- Ibrahim Mantu, member of the Credit Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Nigeria who doubles as chairman of the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association, made public a statement on Mar. 14. It supported the appeal made at the 19th seminar of the world political parties on building a new society which calls for celebrating with splendor the 70th anniversaries of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and Korea's liberation as grand international political festivals.

It said:

This year is the significant year marking the above-said anniversaries to be specially recorded in the history of the WPK and the Korean people.

To splendidly celebrate those anniversaries as grand international political festivals serves as an important occasion in glorifying the immortal exploits of the peerlessly great men who led to victory the Korean revolution and the human cause of independence to make a great contribution before the times and history.

The People's Democratic Party of Nigeria and the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association will form a preparatory committee for celebrating the anniversaries, give wide publicity to the undying revolutionary feats of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and their brilliant careers and the successes made by the Korean people in defending the country's sovereignty and building a thriving nation under the wise guidance of Marshal Kim Jong Un and organize colorful events from June to October.
