Extending support to the appeal calling for furthering the international solidarity movement for independent and peaceful reunification of Korea, the statement noted:

It is necessary to put an end to the division of Korea inflicting all sorts of misfortune and pain upon the Korean people.

We will make our every effort for the withdrawal of the U.S. forces from south Korea.

We urge the U.S. to conclude a peace treaty with the DPRK.

The war drills targeting the DPRK should be stopped at once in order to provide a foundation for dialogue to bring about peaceful reunification of Korea.

All those who are thrown into prisons for the reason that they staged actions for peaceful reunification of the country should be released.

We will make a positive contribution to further intensifying international solidarity activities supporting the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea on the occasions of the 15th anniversary of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the 35th anniversary of the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo.
