During the era of the Cold War the U.S. deployed nuclear weapons in NATO member nations and kept them even after the demise of the Cold War era and has staged joint nuclear war rehearsals with non-nuclear states in Europe.

The U.S. was the nuclear war criminal as it was the first to inflict a nuclear disaster on mankind. It is, therefore, under heavier obligation to realize nuclear disarmament than any other countries.

The situation on the Korean peninsula goes to clearly prove to what alarming phase the wrong nuclear policy of the U.S. pushed the situation. In the true sense of the word, south Korea has turned into the world's greatest nuclear forward base of the U.S. and a base for invading the north.

It is ridiculous, indeed, for the U.S. to talk about "sincerity" on the part of the DPRK while crying out for the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula. The U.S. should not mock at the international community with the initiative to build "a world without nuclear weapons."

Washington had better not dream of the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula before realizing the denuclearization of the world. This is the fixed will of the DPRK.
