A spokesman for the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea said in a statement on Monday in this regard:

The farmland in south Korea is turning into military bases of the U.S. imperialists and theatres for north-targeted war drills and it is flooded with surplus farm produce of foreign countries, threatening the life of the peasants due to the puppet forces' sycophancy and act of treachery and unpopular moves to ruin agriculture.

This goes to prove that the puppet conservative regime is heinous pro-U.S. lackeys and traitors without an equal in the world as it is acting against the destiny and interests of the impoverished peasants in order to meet the U.S. interests.

Such group of traitors and unpopular bandits as the puppet conservative regime and the "Saenuri Party" should be eliminated without fail as they are working hard to infringe upon even the vital rights of the peasants, not content with having reduced south Korea to a colony of the U.S. and forward base for a nuclear war.

It is necessary to overthrow the rule of traitors in south Korea. This is the way for the south Korean peasants to survive and the way of retaking the democratic right and vital rights desired by the toiling masses.

The south Korean peasants should firmly join hands with the people of different social standings and vigorously turn out in the nationwide actions to put an end to the disgusting unpopular rule, bearing in mind that there is nothing to expect from the puppet conservative group keen to prolong its remaining days for selling off national interests to foreign forces.

All the agricultural workers in the northern half of Korea will always voice positive support to the south Korean peasants out in the righteous actions to win back justice and democracy and protect their means of living as they do the same job of cultivating this land, a treasure common to the nation.
