Mauritanian Personage Supports Korean People's Struggle

| Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- Choe Hyok Chol, DPRK ambassador to Mauritania, paid a courtesy call on Sidi Mohamed Ould Maham, president of the Union Party for the Republic (UPR) of Mauritania, on April 1. At the meeting the president said that the friendly and cooperative relations between Mauritania and the DPRK have long history. He still remembers the day when he attended the event welcoming President Kim Il Sung on his visit to Mauritania in 1975, the chairperson said, adding: The UPR will always support the friendly Korean people in their struggle to achieve the country's reunification and build an independent and prospering powerful country. |
