The year 2015 is a very significant year marking the 103rd birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung, 15th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration, 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation, 70th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 35th anniversary of the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo.

The progressives are paying highest tribute to him and full of enthusiasm to stage an active movement for supporting the Korean people in their struggle for achieving the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea this significant year, following the road indicated by him.

The issue of Korea's reunification should be solved by Koreans themselves as they are responsible for it.

The world progressives should conduct widespread activities to support the implementation of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and October 4 declaration and defend peace and stability on the Korean peninsula.

They should conduct a movement demanding the withdrawal of the U.S. forces from south Korea and denouncing the U.S.-south Korea joint military drills.
