Those bodies were the Nepal-Korea Friendship Association, Nepal Journalist Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics, Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Committee of Nepal, Nepal Institute for the Juche Studies, Nepalese Association for Supporting the Songun Politics, National Press Club of Nepal, Nepalese Committee for Promotion of Reunification of Korea, Study Forum for Self-Reliance of Nepal and the Nepali Literary Forum for the Study of Songun Politics.

The statement said:

We were shocked at the Japanese police illegal search of the houses of the chairman and a vice-chairman of Chongryon, the dignified overseas citizens' body of the DPRK.

The Japanese police made the search with an armored car mobilized.

We bitterly condemn such suppression.

This reckless act may drive the DPRK-Japanese relations to a catastrophe.

We, who love justice and peace, demand the Japanese authorities not repeat such an act.
