The editorial said:

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan is trying to make public the results of screening textbooks of secondary schools containing expressions asserting the "dominium over Tok Islets" while the Foreign Ministry of Japan is mulling including in the diplomatic blue book expressions claiming that the islets are part of the inviolable territory of Japan in view of historical facts and international law.

This lays bare Japan's intention to assert "dominium over Tok Islets" in all publications which the Japanese government can control.

The editorial said that the islets are part of the territory of the Korean nation, adding they can never belong to Japan, no matter how desperately it raises a claim to them.

It is unrealistic for Japan to educate the younger generation in the "dominium over Tok Islets," the editorial charged.
