The Japanese reactionaries took a fascist action against the chairman and a vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) who are deputies to the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and it is without precedent in the history, the statement said, and went on:

The recent search operation was a base act of inciting hatred for the DPRK and Chongryon by treating as "criminals" the chairman and a vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon which is playing the role of a diplomatic mission of the DPRK in Japan.

The search conducted by the Japanese police by groundlessly linking Chongryon with the suspected involvement in a case without any legal validity and scientific ground is an illegal investigation violating the constitution and criminal procedure code of Japan and rights of Koreans in Japan and national discrimination against them.

The search which was timed to coincide with the U.S. frantic anti-DPRK "human rights" racket in the international arena is a hostile act perpetrated by the Japanese reactionaries against the DPRK, pursuant to the U.S. scenario to suffocate the DPRK through harshest "sanctions" while talking about "collapse of social system".

The Korean nation can neither overlook nor pardon the hooliganism committed by Japan styling itself a "law-governed state," not content with acting as a shock brigade in the anti-DPRK "human rights" racket of the U.S.
