The book has four chapters on the revolutionary anecdotes telling about how President Kim Il Sung organized and led the struggle to carry out the tasks for founding the party, state and army in the liberated country from August to December, Juche 34 (1945).

Chapter 21 "Triumphal Return" deals with anecdotes dating back to the period when the President set forth the policy for building the party, state and army in the liberated country and led the work to implement it.

Chapter 22 "Holding High Banner of Unity" contains anecdotes about how energetically the President led the struggle to build a new country for the people by the concerted efforts of the Koreans.

Chapter 23 "Let Us Build a New Country for People" deals with anecdotes about the Songun feats the President performed by directing primary efforts to the work for building regular armed forces after the country's liberation. There are also anecdotes about the President indicating orientation and way for national education and paying deep attention to the public health.

Chapter 24 "For Consolidating the Party" contains anecdotes telling the story the President energetically led the work for consolidating the unity and cohesion of the party and enhancing the function and role of the grass-roots party organizations.

There are anecdotes dealing with facts that the President gave ceaseless field guidance to various units, encouraging the people to rehabilitate at an early date the factories and enterprises severely destroyed by the Japanese imperialists.
