The Clothing Institute under the Ministry of Food and Consumer Goods Industries is now focusing efforts on the work to standardize the designing of Korean dresses and the method of making them.

Pyongyang Jang Chol Gu University of Commerce is perfecting the multimedia to introduce the tailoring methods and kinds of Korean dresses while Pyongyang University of Fine Arts works hard to produce new designs for traditional costumes.
