The letter said:

The Polish Branch of the KFA is deeply concerned about the Japanese authorities' ever more undisguised suppression of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan, the search operations conducted against the houses of the chairman and a vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, in particular.

We remind the authorities of the fact that Koreans in Japan are the victims of Japan's colonial policy towards Korea and their descendants.

Japan had illegally kept Korea under its occupation for over 40 years, killing many Koreans and inflicting indescribable mental and physical pain upon them.

However, Japan has neither apologized nor paid reparation for its crimes committed under its colonial rule and has resorted to vicious moves against the DPRK and Chongryon.

Viewing this as an extreme national discrimination which can be enforced only by a fascist state, we strongly demand the Japanese authorities immediately stop the suppression of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan.
