The same situation as the one on the eve of the World War I in the 1910s and the Cuban missile crisis in the 1960s, which were recorded as the most critical situation in the 20th century, has been again created in Northeast Asia in the 2010s. This is a very serious development of situation.

For the past decades, the U.S. has shipped a lot of nuclear weapons to south Korea and got zealous in rearming Japan, a defeated country, in a bid to ignite the second Korean war in Northeast Asia. Now Japan has been emboldened by the U.S. to work hard to organize even ICBM forces.

The historical foundation that incited Japan to militarization was created by the U.S. which provoked the Korean war that helped the former achieve the "high-rate growth" of its economy.

Now Japan is rushing headlong into militarism on the basis of the foundation laid by the U.S.

At present the U.S. seeks to realize its wild ambition for dominating the world, forcing Japan to bear the burden of huge military expenditure for carrying out its pivot-to-Asia-Pacific strategy.

This is no more than a reckless criminal act to further incite Japan to militarization.

The Japanese reactionaries' wild dream for reviving the erstwhile empire can never come true.

They should drop such a wild ambition and make a bold decision to redeem its crime-woven past this year that marks the 70th anniversary of Japan's defeat.
