The participants laid a floral basket before the mosaics depicting smiling Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in Nampho City and paid tribute to them.

Prior to the meeting they went round photos documenting the revolutionary careers of the President and Kim Jong Il and revolutionary exploits of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Present there were the captains and crewmen of the Thailand-flagged ship Nordana Sophie and the Panama-flagged ship Sheng Yun Lai.

Speakers said at the meeting that the President led the two revolutionary wars to shining victory and built a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence on this land.

The President is always alive in the hearts of not only the Korean people but the world progressives as he performed feats for the country and its people, the times and history under the unfurled banner of Juche, the speakers noted.

They expressed belief that the Korean people would build a thriving socialist nation and reunify the country at an early date under the leadership of respected HE Kim Jong Un who is successfully carrying forward the idea and cause of the President.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
