The statement said:

The Japanese police authorities searched the houses of the chairman and a vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon who are deputies to the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK by mobilizing even armored cars .

The search was illegal hooliganism and unpardonable violation of rights of Koreans in Japan and national discrimination against them.

The suppression of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan is infringement upon the DPRK.

The atrocities of the Japanese authorities are a product of their political plot to tone down public opinion demanding apology and reparation for the past crimes committed by the Japanese imperialists and deliberately lay an obstacle in the way of improving the DPRK-Japan relations.

We vehemently condemn the illegal suppression of Chongryon which plays the role as a diplomatic mission of the DPRK as violation of human rights and unpardonable infringement upon its sovereignty.
