According to the report, DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Su Yong and his party paid an official visit to the Republic of India from April 12 to 14 at the invitation of its Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj.

Ri Su Yong paid a courtesy call on Mohammad Hamid Ansari, vice-president of India, had talks with Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and met with some businessmen.

At the talks both sides exchanged views on the issue of boosting the friendly relations between the two countries in political, economic, cultural and other fields and regional and international matters and reached a consensus of views on the issues discussed.

Ri officially invited the Indian foreign minister to visit the DPRK at a convenient time. The invitation was accepted with pleasure.
