Upon embarking on the road of revolution in his teens, Kim Il Sung founded the immortal Juche idea, led the anti-Japanese war to victory and thus successfully accomplish the historic cause of national liberation and adorned the grim annals of history with heroic struggle and feats.

Basing himself on a wealth of experience and traditions established in the flames of the anti-Japanese struggle, he founded the party without delay after the liberation of the country, a great political event.

Under the leadership of Kim Il Sung, genius of ideology and theory and outstanding statesman, the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK could demonstrate their invincible might despite the world political upheaval and imperialists' moves to isolate and stifle them for a long period.

The world knows no such peerlessly great man as Kim Il Sung who distinguished himself in the history of political activities leading the party and the people, feats he performed for the times and the nation and personality fascinating all people.

It is the great honor and happiness for the army and people of the DPRK to have made revolution, holding Kim Il Sung in high esteem whom the world looks up to in unison.
