Displayed at the venues of the events were photos documenting the sacred revolutionary career and feats of the President and revolutionary activities of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were books and photos introducing the achievements made by the service personnel and people of the DPRK in building a thriving nation.

Present there were personages of the Mexican national preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star, the People's Socialist Party of Mexico and the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and the DPRK and other people.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico said in a speech that Kim Il Sung was a world elder statesman who made immortal contributions to the cause of the popular masses for independence and the socialist cause, holding high the banner of independence and socialism.

The chairman of the advisory committee of the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and the DPRK said that Kim Il Sung hewed out the road of independence and sovereignty of Korea and wisely led it. His cause is being successfully carried forward by respected HE Kim Jong Un, the chairman noted.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting held in Austria.
