Seen standing before the statues was a floral basket sent by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Placed before the statues were floral baskets in the name of the party, armed forces and power bodies, public organizations, ministries and national institutions, units of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, institutions, enterprises, factories and schools at all levels in the city, and bouquets and flowers.

Also placed there was a floral basket in the name of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front.

Floral baskets, bouquets and flowers were placed before the statues of the President and Kim Jong Il at Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of People's Security, Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, the Mansudae Art Studio and other places in Pyongyang.

Service personnel, working people and school youth and children paid floral tribute to the statues of the President and Kim Jong Il and mosaics depicting their beaming images at their residential quarters.
