S. Koreans Condemn U.S. Projected Deployment of THHAD

Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) -- Civic and social organizations in south Korea called a press conference before the building of the puppet Defense Ministry on April 10 to denounce the projected deployment of THAAD. They included the People's Action for Peace against War, the Solidarity for Progress, the Confederation of Trade Unions, the Federation of Peasants Associations and the People for Achieving Peace and Reunification, over 40 in all.

At the press release they accused the U.S. of ratcheting up pressure on south Korea to deploy THAAD.

Referring to south Korea visit by the U.S. secretary of Defense in the wake of that by the chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, they said it is self-evident their visits would take south Korea one more step closer to the deployment of THAAD and the establishment of the triangular missile shield and triangular military alliance with the U.S. and Japan.

At the end of the press conference they staged a demonstration in denunciation of the traitors' act of sycophancy.
