The performance has been given 70 times since it raised the curtain at the People's Theater. More than 108 300 officials, people from all walks of life, youth and students and service personnel in Pyongyang and local areas have enjoyed the performance.

The performance representing the past, the present and future of the Juche revolution powerfully aroused the service personnel and people to implement the behests of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

A performance was staged at the People's Theatre on April 15 and the 70th presentation, the last, was made on the next day before full houses.

It began with a narrative poem, prelude and orchestra and chorus "The General Will Live Forever as the Sun". Put on the stage were immortal classic masterpiece "Song of Loyalty", "Cantata to Comrade Kim Jong Il", "Song of Comradeship", "I'll Be the Flower to Herald the Spring" and "We Single-mindedly Cherish Our Loyalty" and other numbers.

The performance was given by singers well known among the people for their representation of theme songs of many films and artistes of the first generation of the Mansudae Art Troupe.

"Spring Reflecting Loving Care", "Smile of Love", "Whistles", "Pyongyang Is Best" and other songs presented by famous singers of the Pochonbo Electronic Band were highly acclaimed for the peculiar attraction of the Korean-style electronic music.

The audience was mesmerized by trumpet solo "I Think, Looking at You", female sole "Frost Flowers" and female solo and pangchang "Thunder over Jong Il Peak" staged by the Wangjaesan Art Troupe.
