Saber Ballul, head of a department of the Political Faculty of the University of Damascus of Syria, said that April 15 is the Day of the Sun when Kim Il Sung who is always alive in our hearts was born, adding his birth marked a historic event of great significance.

He continued:

The President made an immortal contribution to the Korean revolution and the global cause of independence. That is why he is always remembered by the Korean people and progressive humankind as the sun of Juche.

Songchit Pullarp, chairman of the Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand, and Chanai Longoen, chairman of the Thailand-DPRK Friendship Association, noted:

The Korean people made sure that Kim Il Sung lies in state at the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and hold him in high esteem as the eternal President of the DPRK to convey his sacred revolutionary career and immortal exploits to posterity

With the Day of the Sun the President is always alive in the hearts of humankind as the sun of Juche.
