The Kinki local headquarters of the All-Japan Construction and Transport Solidarity Trade Union strongly protested against the police authorities' search of the houses of the chairman and a vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, adding it was unpardonable.

The headquarters called for striving to liquidate the inglorious past, resolve the pending issues and normalize diplomatic relations in accordance with the Pyongyang declaration.
