Speakers said the rally is not a simple one to honor the memory of the victims but a rally demanding the salvage of the ferry to find out nine persons missing and make a proper probe into the truth.

They demanded the regime scrap the "enforcement ordinance" related to the special law on the ferry, immediately salvage the ferry body and probe the truth.

In their eulogies they said there are still dead bodies inside the ferry, accusing the regime and the chief executive of being indifferent to the finding out of those missing, salvage of the ferry body, probe into the truth and prevention of the recurrence of similar disaster.
