He visited various places of the complex including the catalyst shop and the fertilizer loading shop to learn in detail about the production and supply of fertilizers for this year's farming and supply of raw materials before holding a consultative meeting.

The meeting underlined the importance of settling the food problem in decisively improving the people's living standard and the urgent need to boost the fertilizer production.

The meeting also discussed issues of channeling efforts into improving the management of equipment and technical control, ensuring safe supply of electricity, boosting the coal production in keeping with increasing fertilizer production, minutely organizing and commanding transport and cutting down the turn round time of freight cars transporting coal and took relevant measures.

Earlier, the premier inspected the Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory, where he urged it to develop natural and functional cosmetics liked by the people and improve their quality.
