The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in Chongjin City.

Present at the meeting were the captain and crewmen of the Sierra Leone-flagged ship Ha I Heng-1.

Speakers praised the President as the iron-willed commander and legendary hero who waged protracted bloody battles against the brigandish Japanese imperialists under the banner of the anti-Japanese struggle and liberated Korea, led to victory the war fought against the U.S. imperialists' invasion, thus defeating the U.S. and Japanese imperialists in one generation.

They lauded Kim Jong Il as the peerlessly brilliant commander of Songun who built the DPRK into the world-class military power.

The feats Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il performed by leading the army building will go down in history along with the flow of the times, they noted.

A message to Marshal Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
