Kim Jong Un made a congratulatory speech at the joint national meeting of the Korean Children's Union (KCU) organizations on June 6, Juche 101 (2012) in celebration of the 66th founding anniversary of the KCU. In the speech he expressed his firm will to invariably carry forward the noble outlook of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on the future and the rising generation.

He indicated the tasks and ways to bring up the KCU members as knowledgeable, virtuous and healthy reserve forces which will be responsible for the future destiny of the country and the nation.

A book releasing ceremony took place in Helsinki on April 13.
