Exploits of Kim Il Sung Lauded by Foreign Papers

Pyongyang, April 22 (KCNA) -- Foreign papers carried special write-ups illustrated with photos of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the Day of the Sun (the birth anniversary of the President). The Indian paper Indian and World Event on April 3 devoted two whole pages to articles titled "Rare strategist" and "People's father" under the headline of "Eternal sun of Juche". The paper said that the President met with more than 70 000 foreigners including leaders of political parties, states and governments of 136 countries all his life and rendered material and moral assistance to the national liberation struggle, anti-imperialist struggle and building of new society in many countries of the world. The President, who ushered in the era of independence and dedicated his all to the victorious advance of the human cause of independence, will always live as the eternal sun of Juche in the hearts of all the people of the world aspiring after independence, the paper noted. The Malaysian paper Guang Ming Daily on April 4 in an article said that the President founded the immortal Juche idea, defeated the U.S. and Japanese imperialists, wisely led the postwar rehabilitation and construction and socialist construction and thus built the socialist system centered on the popular masses in the DPRK. A paper of Libya on April 8 noted that through his original Songun revolutionary leadership the President achieved the historic cause of the country's liberation, won the shining victory in the three year-long Fatherland Liberation War and wisely led the DPRK to exercise its sovereignty on the international arena. The Hungarian paper Liberation on April 10 said that the Korean people are highly praising the President as the national hero and the people's leader as he defeated the Japanese and U.S. imperialists. |
