Displayed at the venues of the events were photos dealing with the revolutionary career and immortal feats of the President.

Present there were personages of the institute, the committee and shipyard and other masses. The DPRK ambassador to Cuba and his embassy officials were present on invitation.

Juan Jose Leon, first vice-chairman of the committee, said:

The President, born into a patriotic and revolutionary family, embarked on the road of revolution in his teens and liberated the country through arduous armed struggle.

He founded the DPRK after the liberation of the country and led to victory the Korean war ignited by the U.S. imperialists.

He reconstructed the country which had been reduced to ashes by the war, wisely led socialist construction and thus built the socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence.

The President, the great leader of the Korean people, put forward the fair proposals for national reunification, providing a cornerstone for Korea's reunification and making an immortal contribution to the cause of global independence.

We will as ever strive for the reunification of the Korean peninsula.

The participants looked round photos on display and enjoyed a Korean film "Masikryong Ski Resort".
