Minju Joson Discloses Japanese Reactionaries' Aim of Revising "Law on Security"

Pyongyang, April 22 (KCNA) -- The Liberal Democratic Party and the New Komeito Party of Japan, coalition ruling parties of Japan, recently agreed on revising the "law on security" the keynote of which is that the "Self-Defense Forces" shall render support to the armies of the U.S. and other allies anytime and anywhere even though Japan is not directly attacked. In case the law is revised, Japan will have the "right" to dispatch the SDF to any part of the world anytime. Minju Joson Wednesday observes in a commentary in this regard: The Japanese reactionaries are advertising that the basic purpose of the revision is to ensure Japan's security and contribute to global "peace" and "stability." But this is no more than sophism to cover up its sinister purpose. Japan is seeking to expand the scope of SDF's overseas activities in a bid to launch a war of aggression and realize its wild ambition for militarist overseas aggression. Considering that it is essential to boost military muscle to become the "leader" of Asia, Japan has long sought to turn itself into a military giant. What remains to be done by Japan is to dispatch its expanded armed forces overseas. Some countries would fall victims to Japan's reinvasion and the U.S, too, would not avoid the war. In a word, the U.S. would have to pay high price for opening Japan's way of overseas expansion. |
