Speakers expressed their indignation at the reality of south Korea where the spirit of the uprisers is being wantonly quenched.

They called for fighting in the spirit of the April 19 uprisers in order to overcome the present situation where actions for achieving democracy and movement for peaceful reunification are being suppressed and the life of popular masses is being deteriorated as days go by.

They called for staging dynamic all-people actions against the "yusin" dictatorial rule and advancing along the road of independence, democracy and reunification to end the 70 year-long national division.
