The participants of the meeting laid bouquets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in Wonsan City and paid tribute to them.

Present at the meeting were the captain and crewmen of a Cambodia-flagged ship.

Speakers recalled that the President clarified the truth that arms guarantee the existence of a nation and victory of revolution, proclaiming before the world the founding of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army on Apr. 25, 1932.

The President built regular armed forces without delay even under the complicated situation after Korea's liberation and led the Fatherland Liberation War to victory, thus enabling the Korean people to emerge heroic people who shattered the myth of U.S. imperialists' "mightiness", they said, adding:

Thanks to the outstanding and tested guidance of leader Kim Jong Il who formulated the Songun politics as the main political mode under socialism, the Korean People's Army developed into an invincible army strong in ideology and faith and equipped with modern offensive and defensive means.

Marshal Kim Jong Un developed the KPA into the one fully prepared politically and ideologically and in military technique, true to the military idea of the President and Kim Jong Il.

The speakers hoped that the Koreans would register big successes in their efforts for building a thriving nation and accomplishing the cause of national reunification.

A message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
