The book contains 91 works he published between June, Juche 56 (1967) and April, Juche 57 (1968).

The works reflect the ideas and wise leadership of Kim Jong Il who made sure that education in the party's monolithic ideology was dynamically pushed forward on a new high stage.

"On Stamping Out the Ideologically Evil Consequences of the Anti-Party, Counter-Revolutionary Elements and Establishing the Party's Monolithic Ideological System", "The People's Army Should Uphold the Leader's Idea of Building the Revolutionary Armed Forces" and other works clarify the basic aim of the struggle to establish the party's monolithic ideological system and the principled issues which should be maintained in developing it onto a new higher stage.

Contained in the book are works which indicate the tasks for bringing about innovations in the party's ideological work and making the media of the DPRK the revolutionary media remaining loyal to the guidance of the party and the leader.

The book also contains works which deal with the validity of the revolutionary line of the Workers' Party of Korea on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and defence up-building and indicate the tasks and ways for bolstering up the defence capabilities including the issue of helping all service personnel and people make political and ideological preparations and carrying out the military line of self-reliance.

There are in the book the works clarifying the issue of developing agriculture, fishery and stock breeding, the issue of improving the standard of people's living in the mountainous areas, the issue of compiling the teaching programs at universities properly and rounding off their material and technological foundation and the issue of having a correct understanding of the political, moral and material incentives.
