Seen standing before the statues on Mansu Hill was a floral basket sent by Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

Placed before the statues were floral baskets in the name of the party, armed forces and power bodies, public organizations, ministries and national institutions, units of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, institutions, enterprises, factories, farms and schools at all levels in the city, and bouquets and flowers.

The visitors made bows to the statues in humble reverence.

Floral baskets, bouquets and flowers were placed before the statues at Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of People's Security, the Mansudae Art Studio and other places in Pyongyang.

Service personnel, working people and school youth and children paid floral tribute to the statues of the President and Kim Jong Il and mosaics depicting their beaming images at their residential quarters.
