The statement said:

2015 is a significant year that marks the 70th anniversaries of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea and Korea's liberation.

It noted that President Kim Il Sung is the eternal leader of the WPK and the Korean people who achieved the historic cause of Korea's liberation, founded the WPK and led it to victories.

It said that leader Kim Jong Il is the eternal general secretary of the WPK who developed it into the party of Kim Il Sung and put the dignity and national power of socialist Korea on the highest level through his original Songun revolutionary leadership.

Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the WPK, is the great leader of the WPK and the Korean people who has successfully carried forward the revolutionary idea and cause of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and led them to a victory, it said, and went on:

The WPK and the Korean people have dynamically advanced along the path of independence, Songun and socialism under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un and turned out in a general discharge for glorifying this significant year as the one of great victories and grand revolutionary auspicious events.
