Actions for Vital Rights Staged in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, April 27 (KCNA) -- Anti-"government" actions for winning the vital rights were staged in different parts of south Korea on April 25 with at least 100 000 persons of more than 350 civic and public organizations including government employees, teachers, workers, peasants, the poor, youth, women and the disabled involved. There took place a people's rally in Seoul to oppose the Park Geun Hye regime's moves to retrogressively revise pension. It was attended by more than 40 000 members of various organizations. Speakers said the retrogressive revision of pension is the policy for privatizing pension which brings profits to the plutocrats only. They called upon all organizations to fight against the regime's policy against welfare and the common people. Similar rallies also took place in Pusan, Taegu and Kwangju that day. |
