Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill is taking the lead in increasing the production. At the mill, 11 weavers overfulfilled their yearly quotas and 120 weavers their first half-yearly quotas.

Production increase has also been witnessed in many mills and factories like the Sinuiju Textile Mill, the September Textile Mill, the Hamhung Knitwear Factory, the Songyo Knitwear Factory and the Sinuiju Unha Towel Factory.

Meanwhile, foodstuff factories in different parts of the country have made all efforts to increase production, thus making contributions to improving the people's standard of living.
