President Kim Il Sung founded the revolutionary armed forces on Apr. 25, 1932 and defeated the Japanese imperialist invaders on Aug. 15, 1945, liberating the country.

When the U.S. imperialists provoked the Korean war on June 25, 1950, the KPA beat back their aggression and won a victory under the leadership of the President.

The U.S. has frantically staged war drills against the DPRK, oblivious of the lesson drawn from its defeat but the peace on the Korean peninsula is creditably ensured thanks to the KPA.

Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un has ceaselessly inspected KPA units and showed warm loving care for soldiers, carrying forward the cause of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

The service personnel of the KPA are fully determined to defend their supreme commander and the socialist homeland at the cost of their lives.
