He advanced the three principles of national reunification, the ten-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo, providing the basic cornerstone for Korea's reunification.

The document examined by him and on which he left his historic autograph during the last period of his great life was the one for Korea's reunification.

The article noted that he was awarded gifts, orders, medals and honorary titles from governments, political parties and organizations of many countries, international and regional bodies and figures of all social standings, and streets, organizations and institutions which go by his august name are increasing day by day.
