Rodong Sinmun Accuses S. Korea of Confronting with Compatriots

Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- The "Saenuri Party" and the south Korean authorities at a recent party-government consultative meeting were closeted to revise some details of the "bill on human rights in the north" and designate it as an agenda item to be swiftly passed through the 19th-term "National Assembly". It is said that if the "bill" is designated as the above-said agenda item, it will be brought for discussion at the NA session automatically though the opposition parties are opposed to it. Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Sunday says that the puppet conservative forces including the "Saenuri Party" have made desperate efforts to pass the "bill" through the NA for ten years. Such madcap racket is an unpardonable challenge to the dignified socialist system in the DPRK and a heinous provocation totally bedeviling the inter-Korea relations, the commentary notes, and goes on: It is clear to everyone that the reckless moves of the puppet forces to put greater spurs to "unification of social system" while totally denying the idea and social system in the DPRK will foster distrust and confrontation between the north and the south and finally bring about a war. Their reckless moves are making the DPRK realize once again that they have remained unchanged in their sinister intention for confrontation and it will never change. It is nonsensical to sit at the negotiating table with the confrontational maniacs dreaming to bring down the sovereignty of the DPRK and its socialist system, indifferent to the destiny of the nation and prospect of inter-Korean relations. The south Korean puppet forces will be held accountable for the catastrophic consequences entailed by their reckless moves. |
