Present there were Kang Su Rin, chairman of the C.C., DPRK Red Cross Society, and its officials, officials concerned, members of the delegations.

Present there on invitation were foreign diplomatic envoys and representatives of international organizations here.

The participants heard the feats performed by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in developing the society and its history, and activities of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The participants enjoyed an art performance given by schoolchildren and talked with each other to conduct brisk Red Cross activities.

Meanwhile, colorful events took place in branches of the society on the same day.
