Speakers at the press conference said that the Security Investigation Group of the Kyonggi Provincial Police Agency took away Nam Chang U, member of the solidarity who devotedly worked for independent reunification, charging him with a violation of the "Security Law" on May 6. This was the suppression of the Park Geun Hye regime to tide over the crisis it was driven into the tight corner due to the recent Song Wan Jong case and "enforcement ordinance" of the special law for the ferry Sewol, the speakers noted.

They stressed that it is impossible to achieve independence, reunification, democracy and human rights as long as there exists the "Security Law".
