A vice manger of the factory said that the Korean people have rich experience in which they formed the united front by building the Association for the Restoration of the Fatherland (ARF) 79 years ago.

The association is the first anti-Japanese national united front in Korea which was founded and led by President Kim Il Sung during the anti-Japanese armed struggle, he said, and went on:

He founded the association on May 5, 1936.

It was expanded into the nationwide organization in a short span of time after its founding and made great contribution to achieving the cause of Korea's liberation.

Thanks to such tradition of great national unity the Korean people could have dynamically advanced the cause of national reunification since the country was divided into the north and the south by the U.S. after the liberation.

The ten-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation was clarified, the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification formed, north-south summits provided and the June 15 joint declaration adopted.

Korea is sure to be reunified as long as there are the powerful weapon of the great national unity based on the rich experience gained in the national united front movement and the will of all the Koreans to thoroughly implement the June 15 joint declaration.
