Kim Yong Nam Meets Russian President

| Moscow, May 9 (KCNA Correspondent) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, met President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin at the Grand Kremlin Palace on Friday. He visited Russia to take part in the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of Russia's victory in the Great Patriotic War. Kim Yong Nam conveyed warm greetings from supreme leader Kim Jong Un to Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. Putin expressed deep thanks for this and asked Kim Yong Nam to convey his sincere greetings to Kim Jong Un. Kim Yong Nam courteously handed over a personal letter from Kim Jong Un to Putin. Putin expressed deep thanks for the personal letter. Kim Yong Nam and Putin exchanged views on boosting the friendly relations between the DPRK and Russia, which are entering into a new higher stage, in various fields including politics, economy and culture. |
