Reporters and speakers said it was a shining victory of the outstanding strategies and tactics and original war methods of Kim Il Sung that the DPRK achieved miraculous victories in the fierce showdown with the U.S. which had the strongest military and economic might and longest history of aggression and troops of its satellite states early in the 1950s.

The President, correctly seeing through the attempts of the enemy, skillfully applied strategies and tactics to cope with them and advanced such superb war methods as mountain warfare, tunnel warfare and aircraft hunters movement, thus winning shining victories, they added.
