On display at the venue of the festival are at least 400 architectural designs for prize contest and scientific papers, over 30 construction designing programs, multimedia and building materials presented by architectural designers, construction technicians and officials of scientific and educational institutions from across the country.

Present at the ceremony were Tong Jong Ho, minister of Construction and Building-Materials Industry, Kwon Song Ho, minister of State Construction Control, Kim Kyong Jun, minister of Land and Environment Protection, Kang Yong Su, minister of Urban Management, Jo Sok Ho, chairman of the Capital City Construction Commission, officials concerned and officials, architects, technicians, teachers, researchers and creators in the fields of designing, construction, building materials and supervision, fine art studios and scientific and educational institutions.

Sim Yong Hak, chairman of the C.C., the Architects Union of Korea, made an opening address.

At the end of the ceremony the participants went round the venue of the festival.
