Japanese Reactionaries Illegally Arrest Chongryon Officials

Tokyo, May 13 (KNS-KCNA) -- On Tuesday morning the policemen of the joint investigation headquarters consisting of police headquarters in Kyoto, Kanagawa, Yamaguchi and Shimane prefectures stormed the houses of the manager of the Korean Specialty Sales Company and others who are officials of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and walked off them.

They searched the houses for hours in a bid to find out evidence.

The Japanese police authorities committed such violence, asserting that they were related to the Oriental Co. Ltd's alleged violation of the "law on foreign exchange".
