DPRK's Stand on Space Supported by Swiss Bodies
Pyongyang, May 15 (KCNA) -- The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea on May 9 made public a joint statement on May 8 in support of the statement of a spokesman for the National Aerospace Development Administration of the DPRK.

Noting that the spokesman for the National Aerospace Development Administration of the DPRK clarified the principled stand on the use of space for peaceful purpose and study of the space science, the joint statement said:

The development of space for peaceful purpose is the legitimate right of the DPRK and no one can deprive it of the right.

The U.S. and other hostile forces claim that DPRK's satellite launch poses "threat to global peace" but the DPRK will preserve its independent right to the last.

The U.S. is not entitled to obstruct the DPRK's development of space for peaceful purpose while terming it "threat" as the U.S. has stockpiled the biggest nukes and weapons of mass destruction in the world and it is the only country which used nuclear weapons.
