The president said that he and the Moldovan people are recollecting the emotion-charged day when President Kim Il Sung, world political elder, dropped in at border city Ungheni of Moldova on his tour of the East European socialist countries in 1984.

He expressed belief that the relations between the two countries would grow stronger in various fields including politics, economy and culture on the basis of the good tradition provided during the period.

He reiterated his sincere wish for the friendly Korean people that they would make bigger success in the efforts for the country's socio-economic development under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
