Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- The Guinean National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea released a bulletin on May 14. The bulletin introduced world intangible cultural heritage "Arirang". It went on: The Korean folk song "Arirang", registered as a world intangible cultural heritage, is a typical folk song of the nation that has been sung by the Korean people in joy or in sorrow. Grand gymnastic and artistic performance "Arirang" was registered in the Guinness Book of World Records in August 2007. "Arirang" helps the world come to know once again about the Korean nation as a homogeneous one with one and the same language and culture. The Korean people are strong in national identity. Today they are demonstrating their dignity as the people with strong spirit of national independence and the Korean nation-first spirit under the wise leadership of the great leaders and the great party. |
